Many hours later slowly drifting back in to consciousness. Cole felt a unusual tickling sensation on his left arm. He slowly open his eyes to find a small gray curious mouse. Slowly walking down from his elbow to his hand. It cautiously took every step towards his wrist. Cole laid motion les trying hard not to scare it away as its ventured across his arm finally reaching the palm of Coles hand. Cole did not breath he knew if he did he would lose his chance of catching it. The mosquitoes had not slowed down there feasting on Coles exposed right arm. Several landed on his eyelids. and Cole blinked to try and drive them off he did not dare move his arm to swat them away. Focusing on the little gray mouse he waited for it to take a few more steps so it was right in the middle of his hand. Cole clamped his hand as tight as he could.
The mouse struggled to get free from Coles grip by scratching and clawing at his hand. Cole felt sorry for the little mouse but it was ether the mouse or Cole. Cole felt the mouse slowly squeezing through his grip. So he quickly brought his hand to his mouth and forced the little gray mouse in his mouth. The mouse kept biting at Coles tongue but at the same time Cole bit down and heard a crack and the mouse started spasing. Cole kept biting but his jaw was really week so he pushed the little mouse’s head between his molars and bit down one last time and the little mouse’s head crushed and its body stopped squirming.
